Successful trade-fair appearance of fast forward automotive
At the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the German association of engine rebuilders (VMI), fast forward automotive presented itself on the 4th and 5th of October 2013 at an in-house trade fair of the passive members of the association. A series of speeches and an association meeting completed the program of the anniversary event in the "Klassikstadt" (city of classic cars) in Frankfurt, Germany.
"The combustion engine will continue to play a role in the year 2060, with electric motors unable to replace it in the midterm," predicted automotive expert Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Dudenhöfer during his speech. He was one of many top-class speakers, which also included speakers from Audi Motorsport and BMW GmbH, who were invited to Frankfurt on that occasion.
As a "specialist for special parts", fast forward automotive excelled among the other renowned passive members such as Bosch, Federal Mogul, Reinz, Elring, Kolbenschmidt or Mahle. "Our product catalog is simple. It can comprise everything absent in the delivery program of other suppliers, for example, if possible production batches are too small or the components too special for the conventional spare parts market", explained CEO Ingo Königshoven. The company fast forward automotive focuses on the production of small batches and prototypes for engine and car components.
This niche-oriented sales concept was met with great interest at the well-frequented in-house trade fair. "There were many promising negotiations," said Königshoven.
